A Veteran Christmas Story / Veteranen Kerstverhaal
Every year, I aim to write a Christmas story to offer strength and comfort to the audience I work for. This was the first year I did so, and I wrote a Christmas story specifically for veterans and their families.
In December, I share these Christmas stories live and also publish them, with the hope that everyone who reads or hears them can find strength in them.
The light we share 2025
Winter had stilled the land. In the darkness of December, the days seemed shorter than ever, and the night sometimes felt as though it wanted to swallow every color. But in the small Veterans’ House on the edge of the village, one light never went out: the lantern by the entrance.
